Recalling an Ellsworth Kelly grid painting, 24 brightly colored rectangles in a graphite grid of 500 symbolize the 24 corporations in the Fortune 500 that are headed by female CEOs in 2019. The color of each of the 24 is based on colors in the corresponding corporate logo. The position of each colored rectangle in the grid is determined by the size of each company relative to the other 476 companies in the Fortune 500. While apparently sprinkled throughout the 500, the 24 represent less than 5% of the Fortune 500.
