A truncated, inverted pyramid of global wealth distribution, “Who has $50 Million?” references Kenneth Noland’s inverted triangles. The 128,000 adults worldwide with more than $50 million in assets compose the golden-yellow tip of the inverted pyramid. Pressing down from above, in successive layers of decreasing wealth, are the more than 5 billion other adults who own less. The truncated base of the pyramid, in a muted green, represents the more than 3.2 billion adults who own less than $10,000. The truncation cuts off a large proportion of the base, reflecting their partial invisibility.
